Interim Executives

A typical engagement with an interim CXO can last anywhere from 3 months to multiple years. We dive in quickly and develop both short and long term plans, make necessary organization changes, ensure governance and financial transparency with boards and develop growth and/or exit strategies.

Strategy and Planning

It will never happen the way you plan, but if you don’t plan it will never happen. We have years of experience leading and developing strategic and operating plans for small cap to Fortune 500 companies. We focus on plans that can be executed with measurable metrics and actions and gain board support.

Company Exit Planning

Many companies are lost when preparing for an exit. We jump in to help “clean up” financials, prepare pitch books and lead the exit process by managing bankers and lawyers. We can also manage the due diligence process on a company’s behalf. It is a tedious process, but details create real value.

Financial Restructuring

Young and smaller companies often struggle with proper financial systems and metrics, and particularly with tight cash flow management. Early in every engagement, we ensure that there is tight 13 week cash flow modeling and management and that financial reporting processes and structures are in place. We also help prepare financials for an exit.

Sales and Business Development

As small companies start to grow rapidly, sales and business development requires an experienced and steady hand. Processes start to matter and sophisticated dealmaking leads to much better results. We have experienced, exceptional sales and business development leaders to help guide the way to success.

Product Management

Inbound and outbound marketing is generally not on the radar in early stage and troubled companies. Product managers deliver incredible results by understanding customer needs and have the tools to create or improve processes to capture user needs and development processes by applying proven strategies and understanding.

Corporate Development is a specialized skill that is probably not appropriate for young or even mid cap companies…Until an exit or inorganic growth is expected by owners/investors. We develop strategy to increase company value and lead organic and inorganic growth opportunities working with boards and investors.

C-Level Consulting

We have a roster of executives that cross the span of the C-Suite. Often, it makes sense to use an interim or part time executive due to workload and cost constraints. Classic examples include CFO’s, CIO’s, legal counsel and HR leadership. We also have exceptional executive coaching on our team to help develop the existing team.
